"She couldn't believe it! By some miracle her distress signal had been heard and they had sent a rescue shuttle for her. Watching it enter the planet's atmosphere she was left with a sense of relief, but also concern. Though it was her mission to seek out planets with signs of life, she couldn't betray the alien who saved her life. If her world knew the truth about what was living on that world then surely what few of its' native species were left would likely die out. She didn't want to be the one who led humanity to plunder another innocent world. So with a heavy heart she turned to her friend for one last time. Holding the creature's right hand with both of her own she looked up to him and smiled. 'Thank you' she whispered through her suit. Though they didn't speak the same language, they both knew this was the last they would see of each other. She then turned and headed back to her landing drone to await the rescue team. The alien in turn returned to his own, hiding beneath the surface until she was taken back to where she belonged.”
